Care Guide
Caring for Your Piece
With a little love, your handcrafted resin art will last for years. Here's everything you need to know.
Wearable Pieces (Jewelry)
What to Do
Store in a pouch or box
Keep your piece in the soft pouch it came with, or a small jewelry box, away from items that could scratch the resin surface.
Clean with a soft dry cloth
A gentle wipe with a microfiber or soft cotton cloth is all you need to keep the resin looking its best.
Put it on last
Apply perfume, lotion, and hairspray before putting on your piece. Chemicals can dull the surface over time.
Remove before sleeping
Take wearable pieces off before bed to avoid bending delicate hardware or placing stress on the resin.
What to Avoid
Water & moisture
Avoid wearing jewelry while swimming, showering, or washing dishes. Prolonged moisture can affect hardware over time.
Prolonged direct sunlight
While we use UV-resistant resin, extended daily exposure to harsh sunlight can gradually shift the color of botanicals over years.
Chemicals & perfume
Always dress first, then put on your piece. Chemicals from sprays and lotions can dull the resin surface.
Extreme heat
Avoid leaving pieces in hot cars or near heat sources. Temperatures above 150°F can warp the resin.
Home Décor & Clocks
What to Do
Dust regularly
Wipe décor and clock pieces gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to keep the resin surface clear and bright.
Display away from direct sun
Place pieces in indirect or ambient light. A shaded shelf or interior wall is ideal for preserving botanical colors long-term.
Hang clocks on a stable wall
Use an appropriate wall anchor for the weight of your clock. The mounting hardware included is suitable for standard drywall.
Handle larger pieces from the base
When moving décor pieces, hold from the base or sides rather than gripping by any protruding elements.
What to Avoid
Direct harsh sunlight
Avoid placing pieces in a south-facing window with prolonged direct sun. UV-resistant resin holds well, but extended exposure can gradually shift botanical colors.
Water & humid environments
Keep décor pieces away from bathrooms or areas with high moisture. Resin itself is waterproof but hardware and backing materials can be affected.
Abrasive cleaners
Never use chemical sprays, abrasive cloths, or rough sponges on the resin surface — these will scratch the gloss finish.
Extreme heat sources
Keep pieces away from radiators, fireplaces, or appliances that emit strong heat. Sustained high temperatures can warp the resin.
Built to Last
Every piece is made with professional-grade, UV-resistant resin. With proper care, your resin art will stay beautiful for many years. The dried botanicals are preserved permanently inside the resin — they will not decay or fade under normal conditions.
