How It's Made — Ayesha's Artisan Studio

Step 01

Botanical Gathering

It starts in nature. Each flower is hand-selected for its shape, color, and character. We source from local gardens, dried flower suppliers, and seasonal forage. No artificial substitutes — only real botanicals.

Step 02

Pressing & Drying

Fresh flowers are carefully pressed between absorbent sheets and left to dry for 2–4 weeks under gentle pressure. This stage is what determines the final color and texture — patience here is everything.

Step 03

Mold Preparation

Each mold is cleaned and polished before use. We use silicone molds suited to the final piece — earring drops, round pendants, clock faces, tray forms, and décor shapes. The first layer of resin is poured to create a crystal-clear base.

Step 04

Resin Pouring & Layering

Dried botanicals are placed by hand using fine tweezers — positioned exactly where they will sit in the final piece. Additional layers of resin are poured over them, trapping the flowers in place. Each layer is cured before the next is added.

Step 05

Curing

UV or heat curing locks the resin into its final form. This process takes several hours per layer. Rushing this stage causes bubbles or soft spots — so we never do. Every piece cures fully before it moves forward.

Step 06

Sanding & Polishing

Once cured, rough edges are sanded through multiple grits — from coarse to ultra-fine. The surface is then buffed to a glass-like shine. This stage alone can take 30–60 minutes per piece.

Step 07

Hardware Setting

Finishing hardware is attached by hand and varies by piece type — hypoallergenic ear wires and bail hooks for jewelry, clock mechanisms and wall-mount hardware for clocks, protective feet and display stands for décor. Every fitting is chosen for longevity.

Step 08

Quality Check

Every finished piece is inspected under bright light for inclusions, surface imperfections, and hardware integrity. If something isn't right, it doesn't ship — we start again.

Step 09

Packaged with Love

Every piece is packaged to match its form — jewelry is nestled in a soft pouch inside our signature studio box, while larger décor and clock pieces are wrapped in protective tissue and secured in a sturdy gift box. A handwritten note is added for every order.

Your piece doesn't exist yet

We don't keep inventory. Every piece you order is created fresh, from scratch, specifically for you. This means the botanicals are at their best, the resin is freshly mixed, and the hands that made it were thinking only of your order. That's not a constraint — it's the whole point.
